Working with Suicide in Private Practice : Saturday 21st March 2020
This is training for counsellors working in (or planning to work in) private practice. Together we will explore this question ‘Is it safe to work with suicidal clients in private practice?’
You will gain a deeper understanding of your own personal beliefs and limitations around working with suicidal clients and develop a working with suicide policy statement for your private practice. The course will run from 10 a.m – 3 pm. Click here for full details.
2 Day Group Therapy Intensive: March 28th & 29th
Come and experience the power of group therapy as we host a two-day group therapy intensive. Led by Rosalind Sharples, PTSTA(P), the weekend is an ideal introduction to group therapy and allows for deep personal transformation.
Group therapy is a powerful alternative to individual counselling or psychotherapy. The group marathon is a particularly intensive form of wok in which Rosalind will utilise the resources available in the group to facilitate personal change and growth.
The weekend is open to anyone interested in experiencing group therapy. We highly recommend that people attending our 2-day Certificate in Group Work also attend this weekend as part of the learning experience. Each day will run 9.30 am – 5.30 pm
2 Day Certificate in Group Work: June 27th & 28th 2020
This 2-day course is designed to give a basic understanding of the structure and function of group therapy. You will explore your role as the group leader and learn models to understand the group dynamic. 4 Day Certificate in Couples Counselling: August 8th – 23rd 2020
This 4-day course will give you all the tools you need to feel confident working with couples. We will draw from a range of different approaches in a manner which will allow you to tailor your work to the individual couple. This will enable you to integrate the couples training with your own core modality and ways of thinking about therapy.

TA101 5th & 6th September 2020
